Plasma and Wayland

Description

In order to support Wayland in Plasma Desktop and more important Plasma Active some changes are required. In this BoF we should discuss, how

  • Plasma can be run without X11
  • The interaction between Plasma and KWin can be done without the use of X Properties (e.g. Effect invocation)
  • libtaskmanager (and similar) support X11 and Wayland at the same time.
  • define targets for what we want to have in Plasma Active.
