Title

KDE Buildsystem BoF

When

  • Monday, 8:00 PM (not Wednesday 4:00 PM !!!!)

Description

Developers interested in and working on the KDE buildsystem in the wider sense will meet and discuss.

This doesn't include only building itself, but also testing (Continuous Integration) and packaging (cpack). Topics will be among others what has been discussed at the KDE Platform 11 sprint:

  • creating a separate package for cmake modules
  • KDE SuperBuild for flexible building and creating of source packages for KDE
  • upstreaming features into CMake
  • setting up continuous builds for KDE/some KDE repositories
  • packaging issues

This list is not complete nor fixed.

Windows and OSX developers are also *very* welcome.

Expected number of participants

  • 5 to 15 people.

Additional requirements

  • 1 hour should be ok
  • not during the eV meeting
  • should not overlap with the Release Team BoF
  • before Wednesday 14:00
  • a whiteboard or something similar would be nice
